ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, former nChain Group CEO Christen Ager-Hanssen has left the company after claiming to have discovered "a conspiracy to defraud nChain shareholders orchestrated by a major shareholder." Ager-Hanssen posted on X that he no longer believes nChain's chief scientist Craig Wright is the true identity of Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto. In a subsequent post, Ager-Hanssen shared a screenshot of a report that allegedly shows evidence of Wright's browsing history, contradicting Wright's long-standing claim of being Satoshi Nakamoto.

Ager-Hanssen also claimed that he, along with five others, submitted a whistleblower report to the nChain board, after which all six individuals were either fired or suspended. Ager-Hanssen stated that he plans to publish this report, which involves billionaire Calvin Ayre's influence on nChain's operations, referring to Ayre as a "shadow director/dictator."

The nChain board claimed in a statement: "……due to concerns about recent business management, the board commissioned a detailed independent investigation," and before the board took action based on the investigation's findings, Ager-Hanssen "acted in a serious and inappropriate manner," leading to his dismissal.
