ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, the criminal trial date for former Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky is set for September 17, 2024. Mashinsky was arrested in July this year, and prosecutors allege that Mashinsky deceived customers and misled them about the profitability of the cryptocurrency lending institution.

Previously, former Celsius Chief Revenue Officer Roni Cohen-Pavon had pleaded guilty to four criminal charges, including manipulating the price of the platform's token CEL.
