TMX, the operator of the Canadian stock market, will launch Bitcoin price index futures contracts

ChainCatcher news, Canadian stock market operator TMX announced that its Montreal Exchange (MX) will soon launch Bitcoin price index futures contracts. This product is based on the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index (XBX) and will help investors hedge the risks of Bitcoin spot trading. It will be traded and settled in USD and cleared at the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC).
