Japanese game publisher Bandai Namco has suspended downloads of its metaverse game Gundam Metaverse

ChainCatcher News: Japanese game publisher Bandai Namco today announced the suspension of downloads for its newly launched metaverse game Gundam Metaverse on October 11. The date and time for reopening downloads will be announced later, and the statement did not specify the reason for the suspension.

There were previous rumors that the downloaded content included unencrypted design files related to certain models from Gundam Seed Freedom, the upcoming animated film set to be released in January 2024.
