According to ChainCatcher's message, the ApeCoin DAO community has initiated a vote on the proposal to "reduce special committee member compensation by 50%" (from 20,833 ApeCoin per month to 10,417 ApeCoin per month), with voting ending on October 26.

In this proposal, ApeCoin DAO stated that this adjustment will apply to all future terms detailed in AIP-137 and AIP-138, affecting only the special committee members elected after the implementation of this proposal. From a financial perspective, the DAO expects to save up to 104,165 ApeCoin per month.
