ChainCatcher news, according to the Snapshot governance page, the Arbitrum community has initiated a proposal to "distribute a total of 500,000 ARB tokens equally among 25 early community contributors," which is valued at approximately $450,000 at the time of publication, to recognize and reward the outstanding contributions of community members with the "Arbiter (Community)" tag in the Arbitrum official Discord.

Additionally, the proposal states that these contributors have played a key role in the development of Arbitrum, including translation, promotion, event organization, community guidance, security assurance, and collaboration with other communities.
