Kraken will share some user data with the IRS next month
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, based on a court order received in June, the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken will share some user information with the IRS next month.
According to the order, Kraken must provide personal profile information and transaction history for any customer whose transaction volume exceeded $20,000 in any year from 2016 to 2020. This information includes name, date of birth, taxpayer identification number, address, phone number, email address, and transaction history for those five years.
