The Central Bureau of Investigation of India appoints digital asset custody firm Liminal to manage seized digital assets

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of India has appointed the digital asset custody firm Liminal to manage the seized digital assets. Liminal has already formed a specialized team to support CBI operations, which has created multi-signature and multi-party computation wallets to securely store the seized assets, although details of the operation have not been disclosed. Recently, India has witnessed at least two major cryptocurrency scams, including a $300 million scam that led to the arrest of 18 people and a $120 million scam that resulted in the arrest of at least 2 individuals.
