OpenAI seeks funding support from Microsoft to build general artificial intelligence

ChainCatcher news, according to the Financial Times, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman plans to secure further funding from Microsoft to build general artificial intelligence.

Altman stated that the company is currently developing the next generation AI model GPT-5, which will require more data for training, sourced from publicly available datasets on the internet as well as a combination of the company's proprietary data.
