According to ChainCatcher news, the official documents show that BlackRock has submitted its S-1 prospectus for the Ethereum spot ETF to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The document mentions that BlackRock will appoint the cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase as the custodian for its underlying ETH.

Additionally, the prospectus does not mention whether the trust will actively participate in Ethereum staking and distribute the earnings as dividends to shareholders.
