Sam Altman will no longer serve as CEO of OpenAI

ChainCatcher news, according to The Information, OpenAI co-founder and board member Ilya Sutskever told employees that although OpenAI executives attempted to bring Sam Altman back, he will not return as the company's CEO.

The informed source stated that after a weekend of negotiations with the board that fired him last Friday, other executives, and top investors, Altman will not return to the startup he co-founded in 2015.

Additionally, OpenAI co-founder and board member Ilya Sutskever informed employees that Twitch co-founder Emmett Shear will take over as interim CEO.
