Dutch cryptocurrency exchange Bitvavo has been authorized to operate in France
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the Netherlands-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitvavo has successfully registered as a digital asset service provider with the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) and will provide services to users in France. Previously, Bitvavo had received approval from Austrian and French regulators.
A recent survey conducted by the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) showed that more French people own cryptocurrencies (9%) compared to traditional stocks (7%) and bonds (2%).
