Polygon zkEVM has supported the cross-chain USDC standard

ChainCatcher message, Polygon zkEVM now supports the cross-chain USDC standard, which aims to facilitate the transition from L2 to native USDC in the future.

Currently, there is a type of cross-chain USDC in circulation within the Polygon zkEVM ecosystem that does not adhere to this standard, referred to as "legacy" cross-chain USDC, which will gradually be replaced by the new "standard-compliant" cross-chain USDC. Developers and users can easily exchange legacy cross-chain USDC for the new cross-chain USDC at a 1:1 ratio.
