The Worldcoin Foundation will allocate $5 million to build a "fairer system."

ChainCatcher news, according to Coindesk, the Worldcoin Foundation today announced a $5 million community grant program called "Wave0." These grants are intended to enable developers to "focus on building resilient technology and fairer systems on Worldcoin," with funding provided in the form of WLD tokens.
Worldcoin protocol lead Remco Bloemen stated in an interview that these grants are not only aimed at developers, but also that "the community needs to make greater efforts, which includes raising awareness and educating people about the importance of the work this technology is trying to address in terms of 'income inequality, governance, and other survival risks'."
