ChainCatcher news, Slow Mist founder Yu Xian stated on social media that it is quite normal for CVE numbers to be referenced by NVD, and it does not rise to the level of "seeking help from the U.S. federal government to try to review serial numbers/inscription transactions."

ChainCatcher previously reported that Bitcoin Core developer Luke Dashjr posted on the X platform stating that the "inscription" exploits a vulnerability in the Bitcoin Core client and has been assigned the identifier CVE-2023-50428.
