Polygon Labs will stop supporting Polygon Edge and focus on CDK extensions

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Polygon Labs will stop supporting Polygon Edge (a modular framework for bootstrapping Ethereum-compatible networks) and will focus on the Chain Development Kit (CDK).

Polygon Labs stated that chains deployed based on Polygon CDK will achieve interoperability within the ZK L2 networks of the CDK ecosystem, thereby creating a unified liquidity pool. These features are not supported by Edge itself and would require significant modifications to migrate.
