Data: The value of airdropped tokens in 2023 decreased by 40% year-on-year
ChainCatcher message, according to Coingecko data, the total value of cryptocurrency airdrops this year reached $4.5 billion, down from $7.4 billion in 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 40%. Despite the decline this year, 13 of the top 50 airdrops occurred in 2023, with Arbitrum leading the way with a $1.9 billion airdrop, dropping to fourth place in history.
