Starknet roadmap update: Voting for the deployment of version 0.13.0 on the mainnet will begin on January 10

ChainCatcher news, Starknet updates its 2024 roadmap, which will reduce transaction fees on the v0.13.0 testnet in the first quarter and introduce a new transaction type, v3 transactions, allowing users to pay transaction fees with STRK. Additionally, Starknet will open a community vote on January 10 for deploying the aforementioned updates on the mainnet.

Furthermore, Starknet plans to upgrade using EIP-4844 to lower Ethereum Layer 1 data availability costs and aims to introduce a transaction fee market in version v0.14.0 to accelerate transaction speeds.
