CertiK responds to Twitter hacking incident: A media-related account contacted a CertiK employee, leading to the employee's account being compromised
ChainCatcher news, CertiK stated on its social platform, "A verified account related to a well-known media outlet contacted a CertiK employee; however, the account appears to have been compromised, leading to our employee being targeted by a phishing attack. CertiK quickly identified the vulnerability and deleted the related tweets within minutes. Investigations indicate that this was a large-scale ongoing attack. According to the investigation, this incident did not result in significant losses."
ChainCatcher previously reported that this afternoon, CertiK's Twitter account was compromised and posted phishing links.
