CBOE sent a letter to the SEC requesting the expedited approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs from ARK 21SHARES, INVESCO, Fidelity, and VANECK
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has sent a letter to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requesting the expedited approval of the ARK 21SHARES BITCOIN ETF and the INVESCO GALAXY BITCOIN ETF. This letter serves as proof of CBOE's approval for the listing of securities. According to the SEC's official website, CBOE has also submitted related documents for the Fidelity Spot Bitcoin ETF and the VANECK Spot Bitcoin ETF.
Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas pointed out that this appears to be the first "acceleration request" (i.e., requests filed on the same day as others), which is the final step for the effectiveness of the S-1.
