ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, the lawyer for Terra co-founder Do Kwon stated that he may be extradited to the United States by mid-March. Do Kwon is currently detained in Montenegro for holding a fake passport, and his lawyer has requested to postpone the January 29 hearing for the SEC lawsuit until at least March 18 to participate in the trial.

Do Kwon's lawyer David Patton stated in a filing submitted Thursday in Manhattan federal court: "The extradition process for Do Kwon in Montenegro has entered its final stages, and Montenegro could issue an extradition order at any time. Therefore, we understand that he may arrive in the United States as early as mid-March." Both the United States and South Korea have requested Do Kwon's extradition. Which country he will be sent to will be decided by Montenegrin officials based on the laws of that country.
