Hedera plans to allocate 4.86 billion HBAR to develop the ecosystem
ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the Hedera Council has announced that it has voted to approve the allocation of an additional 4.86 billion HBAR by the board for further development of the Hedera network and to achieve decentralized governance. Of this, 4.248 billion HBAR will be allocated by the Hedera board under the existing plans, including the HBAR Foundation, Hashgraph Association, and DLT Science Foundation.
According to various agreements, the HBAR Foundation and Hashgraph Association will receive funding in the first quarter, while the DLT Science Foundation will receive funding upon reaching milestones throughout the year. 614.06 million HBAR will be used for the operational expenses of the Hedera Council and for payments to early SAFT purchasers.
