Conflux plans to launch an EVM-compatible Bitcoin Layer 2 solution

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, Conflux has announced the launch of an EVM-compatible Bitcoin Layer 2 solution, which will allow Conflux to seamlessly manage Bitcoin-based assets such as BTC and xRC20 tokens (e.g., BRC20 and ARC20) through smart contracts. Users will be able to connect various asset types from the Bitcoin network or transfer assets onto the Bitcoin chain.

It is reported that the testnet for this network is expected to go live in February or March 2024, with the mainnet planned to launch in May.
