EigenLayer will add three new LSTs and postpone the reopening of restaking until February 6

ChainCatcher message, the Ethereum restaking protocol EigenLayer announced on platform X posted that the team will open the restaking window from February 6 at 16:00 to February 10 at 16:00. Three new LSTs will be added to the EigenLayer restaking ecosystem: sfrxETH, mETH, and LsETH, and the individual limit of 200,000 ETH for LST will be removed. All deposits will be paused again afterwards.

In addition, the team is introducing a new method for allocating restaking points, which will set the cap for restaking points allocated to any LST, LRT, or individual deposit at 33% of the total future issuance.
