Former UK Chancellor George Osborne has become an advisor to Coinbase

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, former UK Chancellor George Osborne has joined the advisory board of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (COIN). Osborne, who served as Chancellor from 2010 to 2016, becomes the second former UK Chancellor to join a cryptocurrency company. His direct successor, Philip Hammond, joined Copper as an advisor in October 2021 and later became the chairman of the custody firm.
