ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Ethereum developers plan to determine the mainnet launch date for the Dencun upgrade next Thursday (February 8), which will introduce several EIPs, including the proto-dank sharding that is expected to reduce Layer 2 transaction costs.

In addition, Galaxy Digital's Vice President of Research, Christine Kim, stated that the likelihood of the Dencun mainnet being activated by the end of March is 80%, and there is also a possibility of it going live by the end of February, but she indicated that this possibility is low, close to 40%.
