Starknet announces STRK airdrop adjustment, planning to open token claims tomorrow

ChainCatcher news, the Starknet Foundation announced that the STRK token will be available for claim on February 20, 2024, at 20:00.

It is reported that the STRK token distribution has been corrected after listening to community feedback:

• Approximately 900 Ethereum mainnet stakers with multiple validators (who were incorrectly counted as using only one validator) will receive a total of about 6.5 million STRK;
• Rated.network updated their staker classification model based on community feedback, resulting in over 6.9 million STRK being distributed to more than 1,000 previously misclassified individual stakers;
• A correction was made regarding the eligibility issue affecting about 1,900 GitHub usernames, which changed after the snapshot was taken and were registered after the announcement, with over 1 million STRK being reserved for potential future community distribution;
• On StarkEx, the discrepancy allowing custodial companies to claim based on about 200,000 user keys has been removed, and a process will be established for these users to receive the stipulations in the future. These corrections will take effect tomorrow.
