Bloomberg: Former Binance Eastern Europe Executive Plans to Launch New Crypto Platform Blum

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, former Binance Eastern Europe executives Gleb Kostarev and Vladimir Smerki are joining forces to launch a new crypto platform called Blum. Blum will allow users to trade directly from third-party crypto wallets across multiple blockchain networks, with the initial offering scheduled for later this month. Blum aims to target customers across Asia and plans to seek approval as a virtual asset service provider in Georgia. The headquarters may be located in Dubai, and negotiations are currently underway to raise funds for the business from external investors, with hopes to complete this round of financing later this month.

It is reported that Kostarev previously served as the regional head for Binance in Eastern Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand, while Smerkis served as the general manager for the CIS region.
