ChainCatcher news, according to TechCrunch, Worldcoin's German subsidiary has legally challenged the suspension order from the Spanish data protection agency. Worldcoin spokesperson Rebecca Hahn stated that Worldcoin has released a statement, which reads as follows:

Worldcoin fully complies with all laws and regulations regarding the collection and transfer of biometric data, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") in Europe. Therefore, for several months, Worldcoin has maintained consistent and ongoing dialogue with BayLDA, the main data privacy agency in the EU. Worldcoin is disappointed that the Spanish regulatory agency has circumvented recognized EU procedures and rules, leaving no recourse other than to file a lawsuit.
