ChainCatcher news, according to the Financial Times, Nigeria has requested Binance to provide information about its top 100 users in the country and all transaction history from the past six months.

Binance's compliance officer Tigran Gambaryan and Africa regional manager Nadeem Anjarwalla have been detained in Nigeria for three weeks, but they have not been charged with any crimes; they are merely being held "as hostages." There is a dispute between the Nigerian government and Binance regarding $26 billion in untraceable funds.

It is reported that Nigeria considers Binance a key player in undermining the stability of the naira currency and has demanded that it resolve any outstanding tax liabilities.
