OpenSea officially launches the Seaport 1.6 NFT marketplace protocol

ChainCatcher news, Opensea officially announced on the X platform that it has officially launched the Seaport 1.6 NFT marketplace protocol.

This protocol introduces a new feature enabled by the Ethereum Cancun upgrade, called Seaport hooks, which is similar to Uniswap v4 hooks. The Seaport hooks functionality allows developers to build applications that extend the utility and liquidity of NFTs. In some operations, the gas fees for Seaport 1.6 are 5% cheaper than those for Seaport 1.5.
