However, due to facing international criminal charges, he will remain in Montenegro. The Montenegrin High Court ordered the confiscation of Do Kwon's passport on Friday to restrict his departure. According to the court's order, Do Kwon will leave Spuž prison on Saturday. Previously, Montenegrin prosecutors raised objections to extraditing Do Kwon to South Korea, hoping to extradite him to the United States instead. If convicted in the U.S., the sentence could be longer.
