Grayscale Chief Legal Officer: The SEC's lack of in-depth discussion on the Ethereum spot ETF is due to the consensus reached on related issues with the Bitcoin ETF

Gray's Chief Legal Officer Craig Salm stated on social media that there is no need for the market to hold a pessimistic attitude towards the approval of the Ethereum spot ETF in May due to the SEC's delay in engaging in deep discussions with issuers.

This is because Grayscale and other issuers had already engaged in active and constructive dialogues with the SEC months before the launch of the Bitcoin spot ETF, reaching a consensus on details regarding the creation/redemption process, cash versus physical, AP, LP, custody, and other aspects. There is no need to revisit these issues for the Ethereum spot ETF.
