ChainCatcher news, Ordinals protocol founder Casey Rodarmor posted on X that Runes are built for Degen and Memecoin, but the protocol is simple, efficient, and secure, and it will become a competitor to Taproot Assets and RGB. The Runes protocol exists independently and does not rely on Ordinals or inscriptions.
