Worldcoin: World ID will remove the iris verification option
ChainCatcher news, according to TheBlock, individuals who have registered for World ID can request the deletion of their iris scans. The Worldcoin project stated that this will be executed after a six-month "cooling-off" period. Additionally, the project has implemented "on-site age verification checks" to prevent individuals under the age of 18 from registering.
It is reported that Worldcoin has allocated World IDs to nearly 5 million people who agreed to undergo iris scans to prove their "personhood," or in other words, that they are human.
