ChainCatcher message, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin questioned the statement "English is the BTC of languages" on Warpcast, stating that English is the BTC of languages in certain aspects (mainly in terms of network effects). Vitalik believes that the best candidate for "the BTC of languages" in spirit and design philosophy is "toki pona," a language with a very small vocabulary that can fit on a poster, but it is very difficult to use it to express complex ideas.

It is reported that "toki pona" is a constructed language that combines features of philosophical and artistic languages, known for its extremely small vocabulary and ease of learning, created by Canadian linguist and translator Sonja Lang, aimed at simplifying thoughts and communication.
