Ducat Protocol: Has launched the Bitcoin native stablecoin UNIT based on Runes

ChainCatcher news, Ducat Protocol announced on social media the launch of the Bitcoin native stablecoin UNIT based on Runes.

It is reported that Ducat utilizes Ordinals Inscriptions as smart contracts, Runes tokens, and the Taproot upgrade to transform BTC addresses into stablecoin vaults. UNIT will be issued in the form of Runes, collateralized by 150% BTC, and will be fully managed programmatically to maintain its peg.

In addition, the Bitcoin Frontier Fund announced that it has completed its investment in the protocol.
