zkSNACKs: Will prohibit US users from using Wasabi Wallet

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the developer of the privacy-enhanced Bitcoin wallet Wasabi Wallet, zkSNACKs, announced today that users from the United States will be indefinitely banned from using its products. This decision is likely triggered by the arrest of the founder of Samourai Wallet.

According to the company's announcement, users in the U.S. and related territories are now blocked via an IP address firewall, "unable to access its website, download and use Wasabi Wallet as well as any related products and services, including API and RPC interfaces." The announcement stated that "the recent statements issued by U.S. authorities" served as the reason.
