Russian opposition leader initiates blockchain-based referendum
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, exiled Russian opposition leader Mark Feygin is launching a blockchain-driven anonymous referendum on the legitimacy of Vladimir Putin's victory in the Russian elections.
Voting will take place on an application called Russia2024, which is built using Rarimo's Freedom Tool. The application will also utilize the Arbitrum blockchain and zero-knowledge encryption technology to make voters' identities untraceable.
It is reported that Putin has won his fifth term as President of Russia.
