UBS Group disclosed its holdings in BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF

ChainCatcher news, recently Switzerland's largest bank UBS Group submitted a 13F filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), disclosing its substantial holdings in the iShares Bitcoin Spot ETF (IBIT).

It is reported that this filing covers the first quarter of 2024, showing that UBS Group AG and its various subsidiaries and institutional investment managers hold 3,600 shares in IBIT. This investment highlights the growing interest of traditional financial institutions in the cryptocurrency space, particularly in Bitcoin.
