UAE Agriculture Authority: Farms are not allowed for cryptocurrency mining
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority in the United Arab Emirates has informed farmers that farms cannot be used as cryptocurrency mining sites.
The government agency stated that this activity is considered "misusing farms for purposes other than their intended use."
Furthermore, violators of this regulation will face penalties of up to 10,000 UAE dirhams (approximately 2,722 USD).
