Vitalik: Open internet projects like Farcaster, Lens, and Zupass have made significant progress

ChainCatcher news, Bloomberg TV's well-known host and economist Joe Weisenthal stated on social media that there has been a significant change in crypto culture over the past 5-6 years. The once idealistic discussions about blockchain democracy, universal basic income (UBI), and an open internet are now dominated by finance and meme coins.

In response, Vitalik Buterin stated that many idealistic open internet projects have made significant progress, such as Farcaster, Lens, quadratic funding, retroactive funding, Zupass, privacy-preserving ETH sending methods, and ZK voting implementations.
