Robinhood spokesperson: There are currently no plans to launch crypto derivatives

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, regarding Robinhood Markets considering the launch of cryptocurrency futures in the U.S. and Europe, a spokesperson from Robinhood stated to the media that there are currently no plans to launch crypto derivatives.

On the other hand, despite Robinhood's cryptocurrency division receiving a Wells notice from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in early May, Robinhood remains committed to expanding its cryptocurrency business. It is reported that the company's cryptocurrency trading volume achieved a 224% growth in the first quarter of 2024.
