ChainCatcher news, according to Hong Kong 01 report, a kidnapping case occurred in Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong. A 3-year-old boy was suspected to have been taken away by someone using a towel to cover his mouth in the Tseung Kwan O Plaza mall, and was later extorted for 660,000 USDT, with the message "I want money, you want the person."

The kidnapper demanded to download Telegram and go to a cryptocurrency store to buy 660,000 USDT to transfer.

On the morning of July 4, the police arrested two people and rescued the boy.
