ChainCatcher message, the OpenTensor Foundation stated on X that the OTF team is working to ensure the safety of at-risk TAO funds before restoring the normal operation of the Bittensor chain. Meanwhile, anyone other than the OTF team who claims to be able to recover users' at-risk TAO funds should be considered a scammer.

Let it be clear: the official will never ask users to provide their mnemonic or seed phrases, nor will they request any private information. There are no so-called DAO, airdrop, voting, or other plans unless users see such information released by official accounts.

The foundation encourages users to report such activities in various community channels so that others are informed and vigilant against these scams.
