MakerDAO launches NewGovToken activation feature, NGT activators will receive $SPK rewards

ChainCatcher news, MakerDAO founder Rune Christensen announced the launch of the NewGovToken activation feature. Holders can earn SPK rewards by activating NewGovToken, accounting for 15% of the total rewards.

NewGovToken can be obtained by upgrading MKR at a ratio of 1:24,000, with no lock-up period and can be deactivated at any time. In the future, stablecoin rewards and tokens from other SubDAOs may also be available. The feature requires approval through the governance process and is not available to users in the United States and VPN users.
