Neo X releases Gamma version testnet

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, Neo has released the testnet for Neo X Gamma version. This version introduces a strategy-based transaction fee burning mechanism, replacing the dynamic assessment of the base fee rate from EIP-1559. This version also includes compatible protocol extensions, enhanced system contract functionalities, improvements to cross-chain bridges, and documentation updates.

The Neo X node for this version is based on v1.13.11 Geth and supports the Shanghai fork as the latest Ethereum-compatible fork. Neo X plans to use the Gamma version as a long-term TestNet.
