ChainCatcher news, according to Coindesk, Malta's Member of the European Parliament and blockchain advocate Roberta Metsola has been re-elected as the President of the European Parliament.

In 2018, Roberta, as a Member of the European Parliament from Malta, called for regulation of cryptocurrencies and blockchain where appropriate, without stifling innovation.
