ChainCatcher news, in response to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin's recent statement "against making political votes based on support for cryptocurrency," Ava Labs founder and CEO Emin Gün Sirer commented on X: "I agree with Vitalik's point: our choices must be based on principled reasons related to the candidates' positions on personal freedom. To win elections, the superficial support for (cryptocurrency, etc.) fluctuates, but politicians will eventually return to their true inner selves. However, there are more dimensions to principles than just personal freedom versus authoritarianism."

Previous news, Cardano founder refuted Vitalik's statement, saying that when cryptocurrency cannot stay away from politics, it's time to vote for the side that is more supportive.
