The founder of Citron Research pleads not guilty to securities fraud charges
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Andrew Left, the founder of financial research firm Citron Research, pleaded not guilty to several securities fraud charges on July 26. Left attended a 40-minute hearing at a federal court in Los Angeles, where Judge Rozella Oliver ordered him to pay a $4 million unsecured bond and a $1 million secured bond. A trial date for Left is set for September 24.
Previous news, Andrew Left, the founder of Citron Research, has been charged by the SEC with securities fraud, accused of misleading retail investors to profit $16 million through "pump and dump" stock recommendations.
